The Story of Blackwater Labradors

Blackwater has been showing and breeding top quality specialty winning show champion Labrador Retrievers for nearly forty years. The Blackwater story began in 1984 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Currently located in the picturesque fishing village of Port Fairy on the south coast of Victoria Australia under the prefix Seafaeries.

I began field and obedience training then moved on to conformation shows. Litters are bred for temperament, trainability and type. Offering Labradors as family pets, companion gun dogs, show dogs and service dogs. 

I am approved to judge Labradors by the AKC & ANKC.

My puppies are well socialized, easy to train and come to you with their first vaccination and microchiped. All of my breeding stock is certified for joint soundness, eyes are checked annually by a board certified ophthalmologist and we also test for TVD and all currently available genetic tests. Puppies are generally placed with new families on limited registration
